52W52P - 3/52: Cena para dos ~ Dinner for two

El árbol de los deseos para el Año Nuevo ~ New Year's Wishes Tree

Esta Nochevieja pasada la celebramos en casa organizando la consabida cena.

Riesgos de atragantamientos por uvas aparte tenía ganas de que el año no se fuera sin más y quería que se quedara una impronta de los allí presentes. 

We celebrated last New Year's Eve at home organizing the usual dinner.

Risks of choking by grapes aside I wanted that year was not simply end and wanted to stay an imprint of those present.

Inspirada por una idea que ya había visto hace tiempo en internet, que era hacer un árbol de navidad con post it, donde la gente escribe un deseo o un pensamiento me fabriqué un tronco dibujándolo sobre cartón y lo recorté. 

Inspired myself by an idea I had already seen from internet, doing a christmas tree with post it, where people write a wish or a thought, I drew a trunk over cardboard and cut it.

Dispuse tacos de notas de varios colores y bolígrafos de colores neón para que cada uno usara el que quisiera y prohibí la salida de ninguno de los asistentes a menos que dejaran por escrito su deseo para el año nuevo y lo pusiera en la pared. 

I provided post it of several colors and neon colored ballpen to choose and I didn't allow nobody got out unless they wrote their wish for the New Year and put it on the wall.

Me gusta tanto la idea y me despierta tanto cariño ver los deseos de las personas a las que quiero que lo voy a dejar puesto y así, cada vez que salgo de casa a trabajar es como si me acompañaran un poquito, o me saludaran dándome ánimos para acometer el día. 

I like so much the idea and it's so charming to see the wishes of people I love that I decided to keep the tree on the wall, then every time I'm going out to work is like they were with me or they were greeting me, encouraging me to start the day.

La foto es bastante pésima porque el Árbol está en el vestíbulo, un sitio naturalmente oscuro y que precisamente tiene la única luz encima. 

Pic is very bad because the Tree is in the hall, in a place naturally dark and with the only light just above it.

Va de retos - More challenges

En la anterior entrada decía que me gustan los retos. Puse el reto fotográfico mensual que se decidió para enero en el grupo Los Ángeles de Jackie. Pero no conté todo.
In preview post I spoke about I love challenges. I loaded the monthly photographic challenge which was decided for january in Jackie's Angels group. But I didn't told you everything.

Algunas personas de ese grupo y otras que no pertenecen a él decidimos apuntarnos también al reto que se ha propuesto Sara, que ella sí es de LADJ. ¿Lo complico más? No, no hace falta.
Some people from this group and others who's not belong to it decided also to do Sara's  challenge, she is already from JA. Do I complicate it more? No, it's not necessary.

El reto de Sara es un 52 (52semanas-52 fotos) y ya hemos hecho el segundo.
Sara's challenge is a 52 (52 weeks - 52 photos) and we already did the second.

Hoy incluyo los retos de las dos primeras semanas.
Today I load the first two week's challenges.

El primero era Regalo de Reyes:

1/52: New Year-New Challenge

Para esta foto utilicé dos regalos: uno que se ve que es el agua de perfume y otro que no se ve pero que está en la foto que fueron los reflectores para rebotar la luz y conseguir mejor iluminación. En esta foto usé concretamente el dorado porque le daba un aire algo más sofisticado a la foto, apropiado con el tema. 

For this pic I used two gifts: one is shown and it's the parfum's water and the other is not shown but it's in the picture. There are reflectors for bouncing the light and reach a better illumination. In this picture. I used the golden reflector because it gave a more was sophisticated light than others colors, better for the image's theme.

2/52: The blood is the life and it shall be mine

Para esta foto busqué inspiración en la película Drácula, de Bram Stoker, de Francis Ford Coppola, que me encanta. Desde luego si buscaba algo rojo allí lo iba a encontrar. El título es una frase clave que dice Drácula cuando descubre que su mujer ha muerto, al volver de la batalla y también la que ha dado origen a la imagen.
For this pic I looked for inspiration in Francis Ford Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula film, that I love it. Of course if I looked for something red there was where I could find it.
The title is a key phrase said by Dracula when he notice his wife is dead after he was back from the battle. This phrase has inspired the image, too.

Me gustan los retos - I love challenges

Especialmente fotográficos. Y desde que terminamos el curso de Jackie Rueda, gran parte de integrantes del grupo que lo hicimos continuamos enriqueciendo la experiencia fotográfica.

Hemos acordado ponernos un reto mensual para seguir practicando y seguir ayudándonos un@s a otr@s en el arte de apretar el disparador de la cámara, que parece que no pero tiene mucho de arte.

El primer reto ha sido para diciembre. El tema: Splash.

Especially photographs. Since we finished the Jackie Rueda's course many members of the group who did it are continuing enrich the photographic experience.

We agreed to get a monthly challenge to keep practicing and keep helping one each other in the art of pressing the shutter of the camera, it does not seem it but i'ts necessary much art.

First challenge was for december. The theme: Splash.

Es más difícil de lo que parece (esto siempre pasa con la fotografía, es la frase que acompaña cualquier ejercicio pero en este caso con más motivo) porque no solo debes cuidar la composición y la luz (por supuesto), y que la imagen sea agradable en conjunto a los ojos. 

It's harder than it seems (this always happens with photography, it's the phrase always beside the exercise but in this case it's very suitable) because you have care about composition and light (of course) and image is overall pleasant to the eyes.

También debes coordinar el lanzamiento de un objeto que pese lo suficiente para provocar olas de líquido en un recipiente y salga volando con disparar a tiempo para capturar el momento de mayor salpicadura. 

You should also coordinate too the launching of an object that weighs enough to case waves of fluid in a container and them fly off to shoot in time to capture the moment of greatest splash.

No el momento previo ni el posterior, sino justo aquel en el que la salpicadura se muestra en todo su esplendor, y estamos hablando de segundos. 

Not in the previous or in the subsequent time, but just one in which the spray is shown in all its glory, and we're talking about seconds.

Tienes que hacer muchas pruebas para ajustar la velocidad de la cámara y que el salpicado se vea nítido. 

You have to do many tests to adjust the speed of the camera for looking the splashing clear.

También debes cuidar que la cantidad de luz que entra a la cámara sea suficiente para que la imagen sea nítida y bella. 

You should also take care that the amount of light into the camera is sufficient for image is sharp and beautiful.

Es divertido. Aunque tienes que limpiar el escenario constantemente.

It's fun. Although you have to clear constantly the stage.

Incluso se producen tomas falsas.

Even there are bloopers.

Hoy he introducido un cambio en el formato de las entradas. Duplicar las imágenes para que acompañen al texto en los dos idiomas provoca que las entradas se carguen con lentitud, a pesar de utilizar también tamaños más ligeros. 

Por ese motivo a partir de hoy las imágenes serán introducidas una única vez y el texto aparecerá en los dos idiomas junto con la imagen. 

En su día pretendí mostrar un formato distinto pero de momento tendré que ir a lo práctico y no arriesgarme a que mi blog sea el más visitado en la hora de la siesta o en caso de insomnio. 

Today I made a change in the format of posts. Duplicate the images to be with text in two languages causes the posts to load slowly, even using lighters sizes.

For this reason from now images are introduced only once and the text will appear in both languages along with the images.

At the begining I tried to show a diferent format but by the moment I have to be practical and not to risk my blog were the most visited in the nap time or in case of insomnia.
