Safron

El azafrán es una especia muy preciada. Procede de los estigmas secos de la Crocus sativus, flor de pétalos morados.
Es como una Midas de las especias ya que contiene una sustancia carotenoide que pigmenta de amarillo todo lo que toca. 

Es de sabor amargo y se emplea principalmente en la gastronomía aunque su uso ya se remonta al año 2.300 a.C. y ha tenido muchas aplicaciones: para ritos, en embalsamamiento de momias, en medicina, como tinte para la ropa e incluso para el pelo en tiempo de los romanos.

El azafrán es sinónimo de alto precio ya que hay que manipularlo con cuidado y el cultivo y la recolección son muy delicados, algo que tenemos asumido.

Esto no sucederá con Safron.

Desde luego nuestra flor no servirá para aderezar los guisos pero sí las solapas de las invitadas solteras.
Su vibrante color amarillo será como un rayito de sol prendido.

El color amarillo es un color que tiene una injusta mala fama. Se le han atribuido todo tipo de supersticiones siendo la más conocida la de no usarlo en espectáculos o teatros debido a que Molière murió vestido de amarillo.
Pero no todo iba a ser malo con este vital y alegre color: es el color del sol, del dios Apolo, que representa la luz; y su variante dorada representa la realeza, la vida eterna, el amor divino.

En cualquier caso es un color que inyecta una buena dosis de optimismo; dice mucho de la persona que lo usa precisamente debido a las diversas supersticiones que lo rodean; quienes lo usan suelen ser personas a las que les gusta destacar y no temen que las miren.
Es una flor llena de vitalidad para lucir con orgullo.

Saffron is a very precious spice. It comes from the dried stigmas of Crocus sativus, purple's petals flower.

It's like a Midas King spice and it has a substance containing a carotenoid that pigments with yellow color everything it touches. It is bitter tasted and is used mainly in food and although its use dates back to 2,300 BC; it has many applications: for rituals, embalming of mummies, in medicine, as a dye for clothes and even in hair in Roman times.

Saffron is synonymous with high price because it must be handled with care and its cultivation and harvesting are very delicate, something we have assumed. 

This will not happen with Safron the little flower.

Of course our flower will not for garnishing dishes but yes the lapels of the single guests.

Its vibrant yellow color it will be like a ray of sunshine pinned on us. 

The yellow is a color with an unfair bad reputation. It have been attributed to all sorts of superstitions being the best known of no use in shows or theaters spectacles because Moliére died dressed in yellow.
But not everything was going to be wrong with this vital and lively color: it's the color of the sun, the color of the god Apollo, who represents light; and its variant gold represents royalty, eternal life, divine love.

Anyway it is a color that will inject us a healthy dose of optimism; it says a lot about the person who wears it, precisely because of many superstitions surrounding it; those who use it tend to be people who like to stand out and they are not worry that people look at them.
It is a vibrant flower to wear with pride.
