A Cádiz con cariño, con mucho cariño

Dos diademas Louise (*) casi gemelas han salido de Bohéme Atelier.

Se han ido al sur, a Cádiz. De buen grado las hubiera acompañado :)

Para dar un par de abrazos a dos personas fantásticas.

 Y volverme corriendo a mis quehaceres de nuevo, a regañadientes porque una vez allí quién no querría estar unos cuantos días. 

Esta vez mis diademas han sido las embajadoras. 

Qué bonito es pensar que un trocito de B.A. está por allí. :))

(*) Adelantándome a la presentación oficial de éste y de otros modelos las diademas Louise son diademas forradas en tela que llevan un botón grande en crepe adornado con encaje color visón y remates de fieltro. Todas las piezas están cosidas a mano.

Bohème Atelier is taking a break ~ Bohème Atelier se toma un descanso

Bohème Atelier se toma un merecido descanso. La maestra de ceremonias que trabaja detrás, es decir yo, no ha parado este año. Como es habitual. 

Metida siempre en más proyectos que lo razonable aconseja acometer, el reloj anual ha dado de nuevo una vuelta completa y con los calores estivales llega la pausa habitual.

Bohême Atelier gets a well-deserved rest. The master of ceremonies who works behind of it, that is me, doesn't stop to do it this year. As usual. 

Involved always in more projects that reason advise to do, the anual watch spun again a complete turn and with the arrive of the summer hots the usual pause is over us. 

Espero descansar de mis otras rutinas diarias (de todo lo relacionado con B.A. y resto de proyectos varios no me canso nunca), recuperar mis ritmos vitales básicos: dormir cuando tenga sueño, comer cuando tenga hambre y disfrutar cada momento. Espero repetir snorkel y en esta ocasión no solo en agua dulce sino también en el mar. Estoy deseando. 

I hope I will rest from my other daily routines (all around B.A. and the other projects don't tire me never), recovering my basic vital rythms: sleeping when I were sleepy, eating when I were hungry and enjoy every moment. I hope to do snorkel again and this time not only in fresh water, in the sea too. I can't wait for it.

Renovaré mi lista de buenos deseos y propósitos para el año nuevo. 

Sí, ya sé que el año nuevo tradicionalmente empieza el 1 de Enero pero, si no lo he comentado ya, para mí la pausa mental de las vacaciones de verano son el verdadero momento de reflexión. No tengo ni que esforzarme. 

Libre mi cerebro de las presiones y prisas que imponen las obligaciones y los horarios empiezan a aflorar las ilusiones, deseos y motivaciones que se convertirán en pequeños o grandes pero siempre importantes propósitos de mejora. 

Algunos son sencillos y recurrentes como el conseguir no hacer más de una cosa a la vez, sea una tarea o un proyecto que requiera más tiempo. Sé que no lo cumpliré nunca pero al menos intento acercarme a la idea.

I'll renew my wishlist of goods and best intentions for the new year.

I know new year begins january 1st but, if I didn't tell you yet, the mental pause starts in summer's holidays, they are the real moment for reflections. I'll dont't try it very hard.

My brain is free of pressures and rush of the obligations and hours then excitements, desires, and motivations that come to the surface and turn into little o big but ever important intentions to improve.

Some of them are simple and recurrent as not to do several things at same time, equally a task or a long time project. I know I'll never get it but at least I'll be nearest to the idea.

La gracia está en descubrir propósitos nuevos y pasado un tiempo ver si se han ido cumpliendo. Sobre todo es útil para no perder el norte e identificar qué provoca que no se cumplan. 

El primer año que lo hice, perdí la libreta...Yo creo que fue una señal. Ése no era el año en que debía cumplirlos. ☺

The fun is to discover new intentions and time after to check they are fulfil. It's very useful for avoiding to lose one's bearing and identify why they aren't getting.

First year I wrote a list but I lost the note...I think it was a sign. That were not the year for getting my intentions. ☺

Tampoco descansaré del todo. Voy a aprovechar para probar un par de ideas que tenía en mente desde hace tiempo pero que por falta de esto mismo no he podido poner en práctica. 

Y quiero empezar a perfilar en serio uno de los proyectos fotográficos que llamaremos "la obsesión" y que explicaré mejor cuando llegue su momento.
But I won't be resting all the time. I'll try twice ideas from a long time ago because I usually haven't time to do it..

And I want to start to shape one of my photographic projects, I can call it "the obession" but I'll explain it when the moment comes

Gracias al móvil no estaré desconectada del todo y podré estar al día de lo que sucede alrededor de B.A. y más allá, algo que por otra parte estoy deseando hacer porque siempre falta tiempo.
Thanks to mobile I'll not be completely desconected and I'll be up to date with all around B.A. and beyond it, I'm really hoping it because I have no time to do it daily.

Feliz descanso para tod@s, tanto si disfrutáis de vacaciones como si tenéis que trabajar, estudiar u ocupar vuestras mentes y cuerpos con menesteres menos hedonistas. Sea como sea, aprovechad cada ratito que se presente y a la vuelta nos vemos con energías renovadas.
Happy resting for all, even you enjoy holidays or if you have to work,study or have your minds and bodies  busy with occupations not hedonistic. In any case, make the most of it now and when we get back we have renewed energy.

La bohemia ~ La boheme

Bohème Atelier tiene su refugio inspirador a mediados del siglo XIX, en los ambientes artísticos e intelectuales del París de la época.
Bohème Atelier has its inspiring refuge at the middle of 19th century in artistic and intellectual atmohsphere of the Paris at that time.

A Bohème Atelier, y concretamente a mí, nos gusta ese aire semidecandente, esa idea de vivir el momento, que primara lo estético, la inspiración, el arte, que en la cotidianeidad hubiera un planteamiento funcional, vivir con poco, a veces con tan poco que más bien era sobrevivir, atesorar las experiencias y no las cosas, crear, producir, no ponerse límites, desprenderse de lo material, dejar que el mundo entrara por los ojos, por los oídos, por los sentidos en definitiva, experimentar.

Bohème Atelier, and specifically me, like that halfdecadent ambient, that idea about living the moment, priority for the aesthetic, inspiration, art, functional approaches in the daily life, living with few things, sometimes were so few things that it means surviving, accumulating experiences not material things, creating, producing, no limits, getting ride of those material things, leaving the world come in oneself through the eyes, the ears, through senses, to experiment.

Pintores y escritores y otros "entes" artísticos hicieron del barrio de Montmartre y Montparnasse, en momentos distintos, su lugar de residencia, alquilando cuartuchos baratos, malvendiendo sus obras por unos cuantos francos y dedicándose a relacionarse entre ellos, a fundirse en la noche y en sus entretenimientos mal vistos por la burguesía francesa, rebelándose contra ella.

Fue un momento muy creativo, donde grandes mentes de diferentes disciplinas acudían allí a vivir la experiencia bohemia y a impregnarse de un movimiento algo caótico pero sumamente enriquecedor.

Painters and writers and other artistic "entities" converted Montmartre and Montparnasse's neighborhood, at different moments, in the normal place of their residence, renting cheap holes, bad-selling their works of art by a few francs, being connected between themselves, merging with the night and her entertainments that were not considered correct by french bourgeoisie, rebelling against it.
It was a very creative time, when great minds from several disciplines went there to live the bohemian experience and to became impegnate with a chaotic movement but extremely enriching.

Cierro los ojos y me traslado allí, sentada en una mesita al aire libre, en la terraza del Moulin Rouge, una tarde de primavera, tomándome a sorbitos pequeños una copa del líquido ahora blancuzco de la absenta, oyendo los sonidos que me llegan de la orquesta, oliendo el tabaco del caballero con chistera de la mesa de atrás, que mueve impaciente entre los dedos una moneda, atento al escenario...Quizás espere a que salga su bailarina favorita...Oigo el murmullo de conversaciones femeninas y una brisa perfumada de lilas llena mi nariz mientras me dejo llevar por la promesa de una noche de espectáculo y frenesí.

I close my eyes and move myself there, sitting down at a little table, outdoors, in the Moulin Rouge's terrace, an spring evening, taking with little sips a glass of the pale white liquid at this time is the absinthe, listening the sounds from the orchestra, smelling the man in a top hat's tobacco in the table behind me, who was moving impatiently a coin between his fingers, attentive to the stage...Perhaps he's waiting his favorite dancer...I'm listening the murmur of feminine conversations and a scented breeze of lilacs fills my nose while I let myself go by the promise of a night fulled of spectacle and frenzy

At the begining of this post I loaded a theme song of french's singer Charles Aznavour, La boheme, for the mood of it.

Its letter resume so good the nature of the time despite this song is written very much later. I leave you the song in french and translated to english.

¿Se puede estar más feliz?

Bohème Atelier inaugura sus diademas. Y no hay mejor forma de empezar que en buena compañía. 

El miércoles pasado pude conocer por fin a una de mis compañeras de fatigas fotográficas de Flickr. El grupo de gente que estamos alli peleando con conceptos técnicos, inspiración y creatividad a raudales para cumplir con nuestro retos fotográficos es muy majo. En realidad debería decir que son muy majas. Somos todas chicas. Los chicos desaparecieron en algún momento, probablemente fagocitados por obligaciones, responsabilidades o cuestión de prioridades. 

Is it possible to be happier?   

Bohème Atelier inaugurate its diadems. And there is no better way to do it than in good company.

Last wednesday I met one of my photographic mate of Flickr. Our Flickr team, that is fighting with technics concepts, inspiration and a lot of creativity to get our photographic challenges, is very nice. Actually I should say that we are very nice women. All members are women. Boys had dissapeared sometime, probably because duties, responsabilities or perhaps priorities.

Las que estamos, somos (me incluyo a pesar de pecar de poco modesta) gente generosa, entusiasta y loca por las fotos que nos impulsamos unas a otras, sacando tiempo de donde  a veces no lo hay y tratando de llevarnos un poco más alla de nuestras propias capacidades, buscando la sorpresa y la satisfacción de un trabajo hecho con cariño. 

Girls in this group (I include myself despite I could be not much modest) are generous, enthusiastic and mad people about photography, we motivate ourselves, finding time to do pics when there isn`t and trying to carry our capacities through far away from ourselves, looking for the surprise and the satisfaction about a loved and well done work.

Llevamos meses trabajando juntas aunque sea en algo que muchas no consideramos trabajo y eso te acerca y te une. Hay personas que las sientes especialmente cercanas a pesar de lo virtual que puede ser internet, y es como si las conocieras en persona. Lo que precisamente sucedio el jueves. 

We keep working together for months despite it means to work in a non-job, this bring ourselves closer and join us together. There are people I feel closer despite internet is very virtual and I feel them like I know them face to face. This was just what happened thursday.

La compañera de la que hablo es la autora de Mi cocina naranja, un blog de estupendas recetas de cocina que aconsejo visitar con el estómago calmado, si no ansiaréis probarlas en-este-mismo-momento-ya. Descubrimos que trabajamos cerca, casualidades de la vida, a pesar de vivir en una gran ciudad y mediar distancia entre nuestros hogares así que planeamos el encuentro a la salida de nuestras respectivas obligaciones laborales.

The photographic mate I'm talking about is the owner of Mi cocina naranja, a blog with fantastic recipes I advise to visit with empty stomach, otherwise you will want to taste them just-in-this-moment-now.

We discovered that we work near each other, life's coincidences, despite we live in a big city but not close, then we plan the meeting at the ending of our workday.

Es una chica muy simpática, superagradable, hipercercana, con unos ojazos impresionantes y una melena espectacular que ahora sí puedo decir, aunque sea pesada, querida mía, que es un h-o-n-o-r adornar. Bueno, venga, voy a cambiar el registro. Estoy muy contenta y muy orgullosa de que hayas confiado en mi trabajo. ♥

She's a very amusing, supernice, hiperclose girl, with amazing eyes and spectacular hair and now I can say, despite I would be such a pain in the neck, it's a h-o-n-o-u-r to adorn it. Well, it's ok, I'll change the role. I'm very happy and very proud about you trusted in my work. ♥

El miércoles quedamos para conocernos. algo que yo estoy deseando repetir, y de paso hacer la entrega de la Diadema Amélie. Nos pasamos las dos horas o dos horas y media que estuvimos juntas hablando prácticamente sin parar. De fotografía y de otras muchas cosas. ¡Parecía que nos hubieran dado cuerda!. Y tal fue el entusiasmo y lo entretenidos que estábamos (también vino La Hormiga Atómica) que ¿qué se nos olvidó? ¡¡Pues hacernos una foto juntas!! No falla, en casa del herrero...

Wednesaday we met and I want to repeat it again, and on the way to do the delivery of Diadem Amélie.

We spent about two or two and half hours talking without rest. About photography and other themes. It was like someone wound up us! And such was the enthusiasm and we were so amused (Atomic Ant was there too) that we forget to take a pic of us.

De lo que sí tengo fotos es de la diadema. Esta diadema estaba confeccionada en mi cabeza desde hace bastante tiempo. Tenía muy claro cómo quería hacerla y estoy muy contenta porque el resultado es el que yo misma esperaba.

Es una diadema forrada en raso blanco y confeccionada con flores de tul rosa pálido. La modelo, que evidentemente no es humana, es como no, Amélie.

I already have pics of the diadem. It was made in my head a long time ago. I was sure about the result and I'm very happy because the result is as I imagined.

This diadem is covered in white satin and made with pale pink tulle flowers. The model, obviusly, is not human, she is,of course, Amélie.

Absolutamente cosida a mano, doy fe, a excepción del remate de fieltro interior, que va pegado. 

Totally handsewing, I bear witness of it, except the interior felted piece, that's glued.

Disfruté mucho preparándola, empaquetándola con mimo y es que cuando haces algo con cariño para alguien a quien tienes cariño todo es gratificante.

I enjoyed preparing it, packing it with affection and when you do something with love for someone you are fond with everything is rewarding.

Solo puedo repetir ¿se puede estar más feliz? :))

LPECAMDS cambia de nombre: BOHÊME ATELIER

Éste es el primer cambio que veréis en el blog. Las razones eran varias: la necesidad de nuevos aires, un cambio interno de etapa y la necesidad de utilizar un nombre más corto y más fácil de recordar. 

Cambiará el aspecto del blog pero esto se producirá poco a poco.

La filosofía sigue siendo la misma. Espero ampliar el tipo de contenidos y artículos hechos por mí que iré subiendo al blog. 

No obstante creo que este nuevo nombre define mejor el tono con el que fue creado y que esperaba transmitir aunque deseo que ahora llegue mejor (al menos será más corto de teclear): http://bohemeatelier.blogspot.com.es/

He tratado de mantener todo el contenido en el mismo sitio para no tener duplicidad de blogs pero en el camino creo he perdido los contactos de la gente que seguía mis entradas, por lo menos los contactos reflejados en el propio blog. Trataré de comunicar el cambio por vías alternativas para que las molestias del cambio puedan ser las mínimas.

Espero que disculpéis los inconvenientes y deseo veros por aquí de nuevo ya que sois el alma de este sitio.

This is the first change for the blog. There were several reasons: it needed a new look, an internal change is done and it also needed a shorter name easier to remember.

The look of the blog will change but not inmediatly.

The work vision will be the same. I hope to increase the contents and items made by me.

I think this new name define better the mood of the blog when I opened it and I wish it will be closer to you (at least it will be shorter to type): http://bohemeatelier.blogspot.com.es/

I tried to keep the contents of the blog at the same place avoiding duplicated blogs but I have lost the information about followers. I will contact you by other ways to avoid inconvenience.

I apologize you for the annoyances and it's my desire to see you again in this site because you are its soul.
